Its easy to like Laguna. Especially if you like art. I love to walk the streets of Laguna peeking into the galleries full of inspiration. I feel that this image in particular, summed up my mini vacation there. Calming and exhilarating at the same time, one can almost feel the cold morning Ocean breeze on your face while being sung to sleep by the constant rhythm of the tide. Im into long exposures lately. The impressionistic blur gives the image a painterly feel and I believe it engages the mind on a different level than if the image was razor sharp. Strict photographic code believes images must be sharp front to back (the reason tilting and shifting was invented) but, I feel that the subtlety of form and shape leaves room for interpretation whilst easing the mind at the same time.
